Principal’s Newsletter December 2020

18th December 2020

Dear Parents,

As we finish up for Christmas, the children may wear their own clothes to school on the day of the holidays Tuesday, December 22nd. To facilitate a smooth departure and to ensure we are adhering to Covid-19 school procedures at mid-day on Tuesday, the following will be the collection times:

Junior / Senior Infants – 11.45 am
1st class – 11.55 am
2nd – 6th class – 12 noon.

All classes will exit from their usual doors and I ask that 2nd-6th class students are met outside of the school grounds at the decided location.

On behalf of the Board of Management and the school staff I want to thank you sincerely for your wonderful support of the school during this term. Your positive response to all Covid-19 related requests has been very much appreciated by us. Your continuous support of the staff through kind words and gestures has been so uplifting and your financial support of school and charity fundraising events has been simply incredible. We are truly grateful to each and every one of you.

I want to take this opportunity also to thank the Parents’ Association led by our Co-Chairpersons Helen Galvin and Suzanne Evers for their tireless work especially over the past few weeks.

On behalf of the staff of Carysfort N.S. I wish everyone a very happy and safe Christmas with your families and we look forward to seeing you all back in school on Wednesday, January 6th 2021.

Le dea-mhéin,

Norma Linehan
