Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, Colman Noctor is our guest speaker this term. Colman is the author of the book ‘Cop On: what it is and why your child needs it to thrive and survive in today’s world’.
His special interest is on the impact of technology on family life and young people’s mental health.
His talk will explore young people’s relationship with technology and its possible impact on their mental health and emotional development. The talk discusses the digital disconnect between adults and children with regards to technology and discusses how to identify problematic relationships with technology and discuss the management of incidents of cyberbullying, online pornography and chat rooms.
